Learning to fly
Finally - I'm realising my lifelong dream of flying. The local Ottawa Flying Club is only 15 Minutes away with the car. After an introductory flight in February I signed up for ground-school and flying lessons. Here are a few pictures showing this endeavour.

And after flight on 25th of March - my instructor Farz (the right guy) at the refueling-pump
Here are some plane impressions. These C150s are all younger than 1980 ... that's quite young for a fleet :)

Interested in my achievements? Have a look at Canadian paperwork :)

August 13 - It's Solo Cross Country Time - I have to fly legs of more than 25NM and get some time in my logbook. Yesterday I flew from Ottawa (CYOW) to Kingston (CYGK) to Arnprior (CNP3) and back (2.9 hours). I had my camera with me but was too busy finding the way :).
Today I flew to Cornwall (CYCC) to Brockville (CNL3) and back (2.3 hours) - AND I managed to fly and take a few pictures :)
My organized cockpit :) - and view to the right and left (note the reflection of the white/red shirt ... that's really an old one) - then view to the left after takeoff from Cornwall. You can see the Lawrence River and the USA on the other side.
Next a view direction Brockville further to the west - after crossing-over from the downwind - turning base - I'm too busy on final for more pictures :)
After talking to trsa and tower I'm crossing approach of 07 and then coming up for a direct-in on 04

September 19 - it's been done. I'm a pilot now and finally got my license.
