Spring 2004 - Saying Goodbye to the Bay Area

Everything comes to end and such was my time in the Bay Area. After two and a half years of downtown-living and bay-flying I'm packing my bags. That means the last time on the north field in Oakland with the greatly appreciated Alameda Aero Club ...

... the last time flying over the toll-plaza along the Bay Bridge and along the Embarcadero in San Francisco @ 1500 feet, passing Alcatraz ...

... and also the last time approaching the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge - looking down onto the cars heading north and south five minutes outside of the city ...

Passing over the coastline I'm enjoying the remarkable sights of nature - a great priviledge for me to have been able to see and share as a hobby aviator ...

... all that's left is dropping off my Oakland Airport Badge - I'm quite sad to say "Goodbye" to San Francisco, my city by the bay
