Flying has been my dream for a long time - I guess that runs in my family. I've worked on my training for a Privat Pilot License from March to September 2000. Eventually I managed to gather all required tests and hours. Now I can rent a plane, carry passengers, start and land here and there and otherwise use the 3rd dimension. I've added a night-rating in November 2000 and a float-endorsement in 2001. Then I put a lot of hours in an Instrument Rating but stopped short of the check-ride. In 2003 I got a checkout in a tail-dragger (Cessna 152 Texas Taildragger conversion) and in 2004 a checkout in a complex airplane with retractable gear followed (Piper Arrow).
